Sell your music with ZimAudio and get access to a worldwide audience of music lovers. The process is easy, you earn money from sales of legal music downloads, and you retain all rights to your music.

Q: Why sell your music with ZimAudio?
A. As one of our artists you will earn a 50% royalty for every download you sell. The 50/50 split we offer means that $10 in download sales yields $5.00 for you.
Our agreement is non-exclusive. You retain ownership of the copyrights and all other rights in any content and material submitted by you.

Q. How do I sell my music at ZimAudio?
A. You do three things:
1. Read and accept our Terms of Agreement.
2. Print, complete and sign our Submission Form.
3. Mail the completed Form with one copy of your CD to:

Q. How does ZimAudio sell my music?
A. We make a dedicated web page showcasing your music on ZimAudio with the sole purpose of selling your music. It includes cover art, audio samples, and reviews.
We put this page in our galleries and search engines at ZimAudio which is visited by thousands of people who are looking to buy Zimbabwean music by artists like you! We provide links to your own web site, or to any other online locations that feature your music -- wherever you tell us to send our customers.

Q. How does the money work?
A. Our customers may purchase downloads of your music at a price range between 75 and 99 cents per song. Your music is sold by the downloadable track. You will receive 50% of the net revenues from your music downloads sold. Net revenues are determined as the gross revenues less merchant fees. Artists can expect to earn an average of 44 cents per track sold. We pay you four times a year (every quarter) for your downloads. (If the amount we owe you is less than $50 then we will hold the amount until the amount is greater than $50.) We give you an account with a user name and password that allows you to look at reports of how many downloads your songs have received and how much money you have earned.

Q. Are there any catches?
A. No, it’s easier than you think. Our agreement is completely non-exclusive. You retain ownership of the copyrights and all other rights in any content and material submitted by you. By delivering your music to us, you grant to us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to: (a) publicly display & encode your original music into downloadable music files for the purpose of demonstrating, promoting, distributing and selling your music; (b) make your music accessible as (30-second) audio streams & synchronize with visual images; and (c) enroll your music in current and future promotions including our daily free single, podcasts and video streams. You don't even need a full CD. Send us your latest tracks and we'll put them up.

Q. OK, How do I sign up?
A. Read and agree to our Terms of Agreement. Then complete our Submission Form and send it to us with one copy of your CD. After submitting your music ZimAudio will contact you via e-mail to let you know our decision to accept your submission.
